The more I read, the less I know

Monism: all existing things return to a source that is distinct from them. Materialism-Matter, Idealism-Mind.

In this era of data explosion, it seems that the information that people get has become more fragmented. Sometimes I think about how many times I have swiped the screen in a day and how many times I keep refreshing each app for the information as much as possible, but it ’s hard to remember. What are those specific information, and people will choose the alliance in order to show their position, to get approval from strangers through side-by-side comments, as if everything in this world has become right or wrong, this is either wrong because everyone It's wrong to say. Is the fact that this "efficient" fragmented reading improves our perception of the world? At the same time, in order to show the statements, people will choose the "justice alliance", and get approval from strangers through side-by-side comments. As if everything in this world has become right or wrong, this is either wrong because everyone says it is wrong. Is the fact that this "EFFICIENT" fragmented reading improves our perception of the world?

Many people's minds tend to be filled with slogans instead of own ideologies. My friends often ask me: what do you think of this problem? I say I ’m just an individual who pursue a better me. I don’t have opinions neither feel like expressing them on many things. I don't have a specific statement as a side-watcher. I realized that building a knowledge system from books and life experience can solve all problems but cannot explain all problems. I often regret the knowledge I have shown in the past to express my opinions, and be ashamed of my arrogance and one-sided perspective on the problem.

So when you continue to talk to the great soul of mankind, you can slowly get out of your arrogance and acknowledge your own limitations.

In fact, everyone will find that reading is a paradox. Why is that? We read because of knowledge, but as we read more and more, we increasingly acknowledge our ignorance.

But why do many people study? Part of readers acquire books just to show off and their superiority in knowledge. Don't read books like sniffing the breeze. Or what Socrates said, acknowledging my ignorance is the door to wisdom. As I read more, and when I go alone to the top of the mountain to see the end of the world, I think, well, it is still so far from heaven, I will never be there, I am so small, so ignorant, I can never sail in the ocean of knowledge.

Never defend for our ignorance. Some people question why do we still study, my life has its limits, and the most important thing should be living in the momentum since the knowledge is unfortunately infinite.

We read based on ignorance, and the more we read, the more we admit our ignorance, instead of orienting ignorance to knowing. Once you accept the limits of reason, you will embrace the humanity of realism, you will refuse to establish the kingdom of heaven on earth. There are many utopia temptations in human history which will be refused by everyone. You will truly realize that there are often those good wishes that lead to hell on earth. Anyone who wants to establish heaven on the earth will eventually lead to hell on earth.
